Hubba Hubba Smokehouse / Flat Rock, NC

Easily makes its way into my Top Ten BBQ sandwiches. Nice smoke on the meat, piled high, not super wet, tender, and very tasty w/o need for sauce. Toasted bun’s a plus. Personally would prefer a traditional Down East mayo-based slaw and a slightly smaller “chop” of ‘’cue, but super good overall. Great atmosphere and Sarah’s grilled pimento cheese was super stellar. So were the cheese grits. 9.7/10
